JAPANESE CARS MEETING 2025

L’EDIZIONE EPOCALE CHE HA SCRITTO LA STORIA DELLA PASSIONE JDM IN ITALIA

The 12th edition of the Japanese Cars Meeting has just concluded at the Misano World Circuit, where enthusiasts experienced not only the largest and longest-running Japanese car gathering in Italy (an impressive 1,500 registered cars) but also had the chance to explore the retail village with over 40 industry exhibitors and choose from dozens of entertainment options—including track day sessions, a simulator room, go-karting, meetings with industry influencers, prize competitions, Polistil tracks, on-road test drives, and much more. The highlight of the event was the first-ever on-track parade in the history of the Japanese Cars Meeting (main event), where hundreds of Japanese cars drove at sunset along the curves of the Misano circuit, thrilling every enthusiast in attendance. But this year, it wasn’t just the usual record-breaking numbers that amazed fans of the Japanese Cars Meeting. JCM 2025 made history in Italian JDM culture by bringing a guest of exceptional fame and prestige to the country: thanks to the collaboration with Oz Racing Italia and Oz Racing Japan, attendees had the unique opportunity to meet Kazuhiko Nagata, also known as Smokey Nagata, founder and owner of the renowned tuning and body kit brand Top Secret Japan.

SMOKEY NAGATA AT JCM25

An initiative that will go down in the history of the Italian automotive scene, not only for the uniqueness of the event (it was, in fact, the first public appearance of Smokey Nagata in Europe in decades), but also for the extraordinary connection that quickly formed between Mr. Nagata and his fans. Smokey not only greeted thousands of fans during public appearances on stage and during numerous photo and autograph sessions: the Japanese Cars Meeting also had the honor of seeing him drive a very rare GT-R R35 with a Top Secret body kit (the only one in Europe) and even welcomed him into the paddock, where Nagata could not resist the legendary Italian hospitality and stayed to enjoy some Italian culinary specialties with his fans.
